Smallest Clown at the Big Top follows the story of Bebop Tinyfoot, a young clown with dreams of joining his local circus. Through his journey he learns lessons about time, growth, and that everyone works at their own pace.
BEHIND THE CIRCUS CURTAIN
This project was inspired by the impostor syndrome I believe all creatives feel at some point in their life. I have seen peers of my age all at different levels of their craft, and for the longest time I forced myself into the idea that I was not good enough because of everything I could not yet do. This idea stifled my creativity greatly. SCATBT Helped me to explore those emotions and come to terms with the idea that not everybody can be expected to progress at the same time with the same set of materials. Every artist is different, but that is not to our defecit.
The style was inspired by my longtime enjoyment of inanimate objects (Specifically porcelain clown dolls) and circus aesthetics. Along with this, it was also inspired by works such as Big Top Burger by Ian Worthington (Worthikids) and The Amazing Digital Circus by Glitch Studios.
